Depair Connect: Remote management
Continuous monitoring and fast response
A user-friendly, secure remote management system that lets us give our customers the best possible service and react quickly in an emergency.
We avoid unnecessary trips for maintenance and repairs, cutting costs and improving efficiency. By giving our technicians remote access, we monitor your system continuously and step in quickly if it drifts.

The system alerts you automatically by SMS or email in the event of an alarm or a fault, and lets us provide remote support to technicians on site. In short, an essential tool for better maintenance and repair quality.
What you cannot see costs money
An air handling unit rarely fails overnight. It drifts.
A filter loading up, a heat exchanger fouling, a sensor drifting out, a fan working harder to hold its airflow. Without monitoring, that drift is paid for twice: in energy for months, then in an emergency call-out when the unit stops. Nobody saw it coming, because nobody was looking.
Remote monitoring turns that around. The installation reports on itself, continuously, and it raises the alarm instead of the occupant.
See it before the phone rings
Operating values are reported continuously. A drift shows up on a trend long before it becomes a shutdown.
Travel only when it counts
Many faults can be diagnosed, and corrected, from the portal. A site visit is kept for what genuinely needs a hand on the machine.
Arrive with the context
When a technician does travel, they already know the installation, its settings and the fault history. They bring the right part.

What Depair Connect brings you
Ethernet router or mobile network solution (e.g. 4G)
Management of multiple sites, devices and users
Visualisation of data from remote installations
Support for on-site technicians during commissioning
Alarm and event management
Email and SMS notifications
Trend and performance analysis
Remote troubleshooting and PLC programming
Accessible on any device (PC, tablet, smartphone…)

From connection to daily use
Three steps, two of them on our side.
The connection
A router is fitted in the control cabinet. Ethernet where the building offers a network socket, mobile network (4G) where the site is remote or has no wired access.
Commissioning
We register the installation, its measurement points and its alarms in the portal, then create your accounts. On-site technicians are supported remotely during this phase.
Daily use
You check the status of your installations from a browser, on a PC, tablet or smartphone. Alarms go out by email or SMS to the recipients you nominate.
What each role gains
Operators and owners
- the real state of your installations, in real time
- an alarm that arrives before the occupant complains
- fewer call-outs and shorter interventions
- a fault history to weigh maintenance against a retrofit
Installers and technicians
- remote diagnostics and PLC programming
- our support during commissioning, without waiting for a site visit
- secure access to controller parameters from a browser
- user guides and Modbus tables in the documentation
Consultants and property managers
- several sites, units and users in one portal
- integration with an existing BMS over BACnet and KBOB
- Modbus TCP and BACnet IP for the EC-MULTI gateway
- trend analysis to put numbers on performance
Controlled access, not an open door
Access runs through the Talk2M monitoring portal, with named credentials that we supply. Each user sees the installations assigned to them.
On the building side, Depair Connect does not replace your building management system: it integrates with it. Our controls are BACnet and KBOB compatible, and our gateways communicate over Modbus TCP and BACnet IP. An installation monitored by Depair stays readable by the building BMS.
The Climatix controller has its own built-in web server: configuration, diagnostics and updates are done from a browser, with no physical intervention.
Four situations where it counts
A remote site with no network
A plant room at altitude, a building with no spare Ethernet socket: the mobile network option is enough to make the installation visible.
A portfolio to watch
Several buildings, several units, one portal. Alarms arrive in the same place whichever site they come from.
Commissioning with support
The electrician is on site, we are in the controller. Settings are adjusted live, without waiting for a second visit.
A retrofit to verify
Before and after a modernisation, the trends show what actually changed in operation, not just in a calculation.
What we are asked most
Do we have to change the controls to get remote monitoring?
Not necessarily. Depair Connect connects to the controls we install, on a new unit as well as on a retrofit. If your installation is not equipped yet, we start from what is already in place before proposing anything.
What happens if the connection drops?
The unit keeps running. The controls are autonomous: remote monitoring is a window onto the installation, not its brain. An outage costs you visibility and alarms, not ventilation.
Who receives the alarms?
The recipients you nominate, by email or SMS. Several people can be alerted, and the list can be changed on request.
Who has access to my installations?
You, with your credentials, and our technicians. That access is the point of the service: without it we can neither monitor your system continuously nor correct a drift without travelling to site.
Is it compatible with the building BMS?
Yes. Our controls are BACnet and KBOB compatible, and our gateways communicate over Modbus TCP and BACnet IP so they fit into an existing building management system.
Which devices can I use to open the portal?
A PC, tablet or smartphone, from a browser, with the credentials we supply.
What if I need help with an existing installation?
Use our support page and choose the type of request. If we have already worked on your unit, its configuration and measurement points are known to us: the diagnosis starts there.
