Centralised control of an EC fan wall with a Modbus TCP / BACnet IP gateway (EC-Multi)

Controlling several EC fans individually complicates settings and wiring. Our single gateway, compatible with Modbus TCP, BACnet IP or 0–10 V, simplifies everything by managing up to 16 fans in total (supply and extract combined).

Simplified control

Thanks to this interface, just one 0–10 V analogue setpoint or bus command adjusts the airflow simultaneously (per air stream) for all the EC fans in the wall. No more manual adjustments and individual configurations: a single setpoint centralises your ventilation needs.

Supervision and diagnostics per fan

Each fan is equipped with:

• A pressure sensor to measure and report the supply or suction pressure in real time.
• 1 fault contact to instantly report any motor fault.

This information is converted into Modbus registers or BACnet points, accessible from your BMS or controller.

With individual fault-status monitoring, you can:

• Pinpoint the failed fan
• Replace or repair the affected unit without stopping the whole system
• Ensure continuous, safe ventilation, even in the event of an incident
• Advanced alarms : two configurable digital outputs distinguish urgent from non-urgent alerts depending on the number of fans in fault (degraded mode).
